Sunday July 8, 2007 (09:21pm) Getting my gimp on (while watching Family Guy on TV) -Over the past 3 or 4 days, my left leg has been bothering me quite a bit. I think it's just sore muscles, but since it's been hurting for so long, I'm starting to wonder if it's something more. I've tried heat, ice, and vibrating massage, and they all only provide temporary relief. Today it hurt so much I took pain meds because of it. The pain feels muscle or tendon related, and I'm fairly certain it doesn't have anything to do with cancer. For several days before that I was doing walks around our apartments, and I guess I pushed myself too hard by forcing my leg muscles to walk "normally. My fear is that I could have torn something inside. I have a clinic appointment on Wednesday and I'll tell the docs about it. I'm hoping it's nothing that will set my hip rehab back any, but we'll see. -Tomorrow Casey is coming up to this area for his work, and I'll get the chance to see him. I don't know what we'll be doing, but since my leg is hurting so much it probably won't be much. -I broke down and finally bought a Nintendo DS. I was tired of straining my eyes on my old Game Boy Advance and used money that I had been saving in my savings account over the past six months. It's a pretty big purchase but I know I'll get a lot of use out of it. -I watched the Kill Bill movies last night with Karly. I'd never seen the 2nd one before. After seeing both back to back, I just thought they were ok. In fact, it wasn't until I saw the end of Vol. 2 that I appreciated both movies. That's all I got for now. Later everyone, Kyle
