“I guess I'm always hoping that you'll end this reign, but It's my destiny to be the King of Pain.”
(while listening to King Of Pain by The Police)

-My latest clinic visit at Valley Medical Center (called Southlake Clinic) happened last week. It was pretty short as it was the first one. But when I was there, the doctor noted that my insurance (Humana Medicare Advantage Plan) may not be covered by them. So, I'll have to wait and see if they can continue to see me. If not, I'll have to check with Humana and see what clinic in the area they cover. I'm not too worried about it, but it could be an issue in the future.

[At this moment, Winamp randomly switches to that crappy Celine Dion song from Titanic that Kyle likes enough to actually own but never listen to. Kyle clicks next until a better song comes on. Several clicks later Jambi by Tool comes on. Kyle seems happier. He comtinues writing.]

-I've created some more Adventures of Timmy!. Feel free to check them out or whatever.

-I watched The Big Lebowski yesterday with Mom and Karly. They both didn't seem to enjoy the movie as much as I do, as it is one of my alltime favorites. Oh well. They like watching all kinds of stuff that I don't enjoy. It was sorta like my payback for all those damn episodes of Gilmore Girls I've had to listen to from the other room.

[A Cyndi Lauper song comes on. Kyle clicks next a few times until The Great Destroyer by Nine Inch Nails is chosen at random.]

-I started playing Castlevania: Circle Of The Moon on the Game Boy Advance. I had lent it to Buck last year and just received it back the other day. It's a bitchy game, but I like it.

-I've been working on this website for Jamie that has to do with scrapbooking. You can check it out here http://scrapaddict.valquez.com. There's not a whole lot there yet, except for in the Shopping section. Anyway, she seems pretty happy with it so far and that's all that matters. It will get better as time goes on and there's more content to add.

-I have no big plans for Independence Day. I usually never do anyway. It's one of my least favorite holidays to celebrate. I think I'm actually slightly more into Grandparents Day... except now I'm having trouble remembering when that is. I wanna say September... Anyway, the point is that firewroks don't really impress me and I have always had a hard time getting into our country's sense of nationalism. To me, the 4th of July is more for honoring the people who fought for this country's independence than trying to prove to the rest of the world how proud you are to be American.

[A Cure song comes on. Kyle considers it for a moment, then decides he's not in the mood to listen to Disentigration. A few clicks later Kyle stops at This How You Remind Me] by Nickelback]

-I got a letter in the mail last week from the goverment saying that they are doing a review of my disability claim and needed me to fill out a worksheet and send it back in. They will evaluate it and determine whether or not I will continue to receive benefits. This is a standard thing that they do ever few years, so it's not like I did anything wrong. But, if they decide that I am no longer disabled enough to receive benefits, that could be a problem. I'll just have to wait and see.

-I finally got my Washington ID. It only took me 4 tries and several pieces of bad information to get the job done.

-The stupid Seattle SuperSonics traded Ray Allen to the Celtics for a draft pick the other day. I thought it was a dumb move. But, the Blazers traded Zach Randolph to the Knicks, a move I actually kinda agree with. I don't like the idea of New York getting a decent scorer, but the truth is that I've never been a big Randolph fan. He's not much of a leader and I'm not sad to see him leave.

[Tennessee by Arrested Development comes on. After almost clicking next, Kyle decides to let it play]

 That's it for now. Later,

 Kyle
