Mike Shanahan just can't get over being dumped by the Raiders Shanahan's inability to get over being fired by the Raiders seem more like an overly dramatic 8th grade teenage girl whining about an ex-boyfriend than a man who lost a job in which he didn't perform well at. I might beg him to just get over it like a normal person but I honestly find it kind of amusing how long he's held onto this grudge. #4.) Broncos fans are quick to point out when the Raiders are in the wrong, but not when their team is the one that cheated, interfered, or won a big game because of a bogus play I'm not saying the Raiders didn't get some lucky calls in their history, but if you're gonna point out the Raiders mistakes you should be aware that your team isn't perfect either. The John Elway Story: The immature quarterback who refused to play for the team that originally drafted him in 1983 and threatened to go play baseball if he wasn't traded to another team Before Eli Manning did the same when he was drafted, John Elway set the bar by basically throwing a trantrum until he got what he wanted. Ok. Well Bronco fans, lets look at some quick stats: -The Raiders have won more games against the Broncos (56-41-2) -The Raiders have a better Super Bowl winning percentage (60% to 33%) -The Raiders have a better regular season winning percentage (55% to 53%) -The Raiders have a better playoff winning percentage (58% to 53%) -The Raiders have played in more playoff games than the Broncos (43 to 32) -The Raiders have swept the Broncos in more seasons (21 to 13) -The Raiders have more players in the Hall of Fame than the Broncos (21 to 5) I could continue but I think I made my point. These are actual, factual NFL statistics. And these are all-time stats, so they include the past eight or so seasons where the Raiders have been a horrible team. I just don't get why their fans think the Broncos are still a better team when presented with such facts. Remember, the question isn't why do you like the Broncos more or why you hate the Raiders, the question is why do you insist that the Broncos are a better team than the Raiders? I mean, there's proof right here on this page that the Raiders are objectively better than the Broncos. Where's your proof? ... and the #1 reason is... #1.) I was raised an Oakland Raiders fan! If you couldn't already tell, I love the Raiders! As far back as I can remember football it was all about committing to excellence and just winning, baby! Ah, the good old Silver and Black... Two colors that actually go together well on a football uniform. Orange and "Baby" Blue? "Shit" Brown and "How old is this mustard" Gold?
