Getting back to basics
(while the local news on KATU)

-The hip is feeling pretty good. I'm able to get up and around pretty good nowadays. Aside from soreness, stiffness, and lack of stamina, I'm doing awesome. I'm even starting to think about when I should ditch the cane. It shouldn't be too far away.

-Today I just signed up for Humana's Gold Medicare Plan. It's about $15 more a month than I currently pay, but it has all the same coverage as regular Medicare and then some. There's a lot of little perks about the plan that add up. I think it'll be worth it in the long run.

-Still no word on where my next place of residence will be. Jason Roland and I are trying to find a place in the Gresham/Troutdale area, but things aren't going so great. First, we need time to save up money to make the move. Second, we have a lot going against us in terms of who we can and cannot rent from. And thirdly, despite having the last name "Rich" I am not made of money, so even if we do find a place money will be tight. There is also the option of finding a place by myself and getting by with help from the outside, but I haven't really begun to actively persue that avenue. Although, I probably should start checking out all of the in-and-outs that are involved in that method sooner rather than later.

-So, like, what's the deal with this "Disney Vault" I've been hearing about all these years? Are we suppose to believe that the Disney company has secured all of their movie classics into a protected vault for safe keeping? Probably not. Maybe it's one suppose to be one of those childhood secrets we're not suppose to talk about, like the Tooth Fairy or the Easter Bunny. Who knows. My guess is the that Disney company is trying it's best to fake out the terrorists and make them waste time plotting to bomb a target that doesn't really exist.

-I'm going to watch the movie 300 tomorrow with Casey. We've invited McKenzie and Luke as well, but they're not definates. I'm only half excited about seeing the movie. I'm more excited to hang out with my friends. But I'm sure the movie won't disappoint. At least it should be visually stunning. Perhaps I'll get lucky and the Nine Inch Nails song they play in the movie trailer will be in the actual movie. Who knows.

 Later,

 Kyle
