Tuesday May 15, 2007 (02:36pm) Getting settled in (while watching Mad About You on my PC) -Well, I'm pretty much moved in up here in Renton. All I have left to do is setup the final details of my room, which will take some time anyway. I don't need to get too settled in, cause I know I'll be moving again in a few months anyway. -The apartment up here is pretty cool. So is my new room. It's much bigger than my last room. I also have a much bigger desk. There's also a few things wrong with it, like the window is too close to my bed, the sun shines too hot and too bright through the window, and all the wall sockets suck so bad that the plugs are always falling out. So there you go. -With the exception of my server and main PC, my entire home network is wireless, which is a new thing for me. It's pretty cool not having the wires, but I have noticed that the connection can be crappy at times, which kinda sucks. But now I get to use my brand new NetGear wireless router I got from Joe way back when, which is a much better router than my last one as it has wireless built in and several awesome settings to help control the network. That means that I have an extras Adaptec Wireless Access Point, if anyone is interested in it. It works perfectly fine and would be a cheap way to upgrade your home network to wireless if you already have a regular router. -The hip is doing ok. It's sore, but that's really nothing new. But after all this movuing, it's starting to get where it's not just the muscles but also the bone that's sore. I'm not worried about it yet, as the bone has always been a little sore. I just think that all this moving has made it even more tender. I suppose I should try harder to not work that new hip of mine any more than I have to. I want that baby to last me a long, long time. -Oh yeah, I almost forgot: Pearl Jam is totally awesome. Just thought you should know. -I'd like to get one of those picture frames that has a bunch of small picture slots in it so I can have pictures of everyone I love and care about. Now all I need to do is get people to send me small, wallet sized pictures. I ask in this way so that people will send me pictures of themselves (and their kids) that they approve of. I will accept digital pictures as well, as I can get them developed myself. So please, send me pictures of yourself that you like so I can get this thing going. Later taters, Kyle
