Sunday August 26, 2007 (12:49pm) Sunday, boring Sunday (while watching Browns vs. Broncos on NFL Network) -I finally own an actual coffee maker. It's a small 4 cup maker, but that's perfect for me. No longer will I have to suffer through instant coffee or overpay for fluffy coffees at the supermarket. Hell yeah. -Cody and his girlfriend Megan came up to the Seattle area this weekend and they stopped by our place yesterday. We hung out for a while and went out to eat at Plum Delicious. I never really met Megan before but she seems pretty cool. -We have less than a month before we have to move, so now it's crunch time for us to find a new place to live. Mom's been looking at lots of places and trying to get some solid leads, but so far we've found nothing too exciting. Hopefully we find something good soon or we may need to recheck our options, including staying here for a while longer. It wouldn't be the end of the world, but that's not what we want. -Mom, Karly, and I have played a few games of Hand & Foot recently. I forgot how much I like that card game. We also play this game I made up that you play with Trivial Pursuit cards and a 6-sided die. There's six categories on TP cards, so you roll the die and then based on what number you rolled someone asks you one of the six questions. If you get it right, you get the card. The person with the most cards at the end of the game wins. It goes a lot faster than regular TP, so I like it a little bit more than the original game. -Just a few more weeks and the NFL regular season starts. It's gonna be awesome. -Movies I've recently watched: Evan Almighty, Hot Fuzz, The Incredible Shrinking Woman, Dune -I've been (slowly) reading the Washington State Driver's manual in an effort to try and get my driving permit. I'm still apprehensive about actually driving with my vision issues, but I figure I can at least get my permit and try it out and see how hard it actually is. I already took the practice test online and failed, so I need to study more before I'm ready for the actual test. Later, Kyle
