"The Reason (Brotherhood)"
 Written by Kyle Rich

Spent a hour on the back porch, but it seemed like two.
Just wondering what I should do.
There's a word for people like you, for who they are.
But if I said the word would I go too far?

It's been about a week now, since we last met.
A time frame only time forgets.
But these things inside, that cross my mind...
If I went too far would you understand, the reason?

 Oh... The reason.
If I went too far would you understand, could you understand that...

What do you think about me? What does it mean to you?
What would you say if I said right now I believed in you?
If you don't think about me, then what am I suppose to do?

You'll never see what I want you to.
But would you try if I needed you...

 To find, a reason?

There's so many words that I know that I can't use.
It's a simple kind of a mental abuse.
And I know you'd understand me, if you saw with my eyes.
Like when Sunday comes and you go bed and you feel like crying.

It's a different kind of sorrow when you're not yourself.
When your home turns into a private hell.
 It's a one routine. It's a breath of nicotine.
It's a one more chance to forget the past and to dream about anyone.

 Anyone... Yeah, anyone.
I could sit right down now, forget the past, and I could dream about anyone.

But what do YOU think about me? And what does it mean to YOU?
What would you say if I said right now that I always needed you?
If you don't think about me, then what am I suppose to do!?

You'll never see what I want you to.
But would you try if I needed you...

 ...To find a reason to?

I spent a hour on the back porch, but it seemed like two.
Just wondering what I should do.
But these things inside, that cross my mind...
If I went too far would you understand...

 ...The reason?
