“Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage”
(while listening to Bullet With Butterfly Wings by (?The?) Smashing Pumpkins)

-I had my hip surgery on September 2nd and everything went smooth. It still hurts almost a week later, but I'm not worried about it yet. I don't want to overdue it so I'm still taking it as easy as possible. I've been using my walker to get around but I'm hoping to start using my cane instead real soon.

-Not much new news about my friend Jay, but it does look like he is slowly improving. His mom says that he is improving physically, but mentally is a different story. Only time will tell how much permanent brian damage was done. There is still hope that he could make a full recovery, so that's at least something. Either way, he's got a long road of recovery ahead of him.

-Today I started school. It's my 3rd block of online classes from the UoP. I'm taking COM135 and IT205. Both are barely computer related and seem like they will be lame classes.

-I've been doing a lot of mobile web surfing recently, and because of this I beefed up my mobile website. Most of the changes are things that users like you can't even access, but there are some. I'd show off some of the best new web toys I came up with but it would be a security risk (That's right you stupid buttface web hackers, I'm talking about YOU).

-I've been watching a lot of the TV show “House”. I really like that show. Looking at Cameron and Cuddy is always fun, but the character of House is definately my favorite part of the show. Watching “House” reminds me of when I was working, and how in my effort to become better at tech support I had to work with and learn from people who were also "damaged geniuses", and that even though learning from these people can be frustrating, I don't think I'd want it any other way. There's just something about learning from a damaged genius that inspires me.

-Football season has officially started. Week 1 was an ok week for me, as the Jets & Brett Favre won, as well as the Cardinals and Saints. The Bengals not only lost but looked bad doing it, so I'm worried that this could be another long season. The Raiders play the Broncos tonight, but I'm not sure they can win. Either way, it will be a big game.

 That's it for now. Farewell,

 Kyle
