Monday February 2, 2009 (01:16pm) Not-So-Shocking Results (while watching The Critic on my PC) -Well, the Arizona Cardinals lost the Super Bowl to the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-23. The Cardinals got the lead 23-20 late in the game but the Steelers scored with less than a minute left to win their 6th Super Bowl. It was nice to have a chance to see one of my teams win the big game but it sucks that they lost to a team I hate. So much for the Cardinals "shocking the world". They had a good season, but without a ring to go along it's just not the same. -I finished my current block of classes and have the next week off of school. My next two classes are "Java Programming" and "Religions of the World". They should be interesting. -The new apartment is working out for Karly and I so far. I really like the way my room is set up. I've also been using wireless networking in my room since I set it up and it's been working just fine. We still don't have the washer and dryer in our unit yet but it should be coming soon. -Now that the Super Bowl is over it means that football season is also over. Time to move my focus over to basketball. Go Blazers! -I started playing Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia on the Nintendo DS. It's pretty much just like the other Castlevania games but with slight twists here and there. It's definately an awesome game. -The episode of The Office that was on after the Super Bowl was broadcast in fullscreen instead of the usual widescreen. I thought it was pretty lame that they did that. Hope they switch back to widescreen for future airings. Later, Kyle
