Tuesday March 3, 2009 (12:20pm) “Awesome Sound Goin' Down” (while while listening Lateralus by Tool) -My ears are still bugging me. I saw an ear-nose-throat doc a few weeks back but I don't think he got to the root of the problem. My inner ears feel clogged and I swear I can feel stuff moving around inside them. But very little ear wax comes out. I may have to see him again if it gets more uncomfortable. -My Religions class is going to require me to visit a place of religious worship and interview some of the patrons. I'm not looking forward to this, but it's part of the class. Mom talked to one of her friends who's a wiccan and I will go with her to her church on Sunday. I don't know what to expect from a wiccan church but I'm sure I'll like it more than a Christian or Catholic church. -Well, it's official: T.J. Houshmandzadeh is no longer a Cincinnati Bengal. He is now a member of the "Cattlehawks" (that's my stupid pet name for the Seattle Seahawks [Cattle = C+Attle = Sea+Attle = Seattle]). I guess Housh could have gone to a worse team, but I'm still a sad panda. I'll still root for him when I can, but it won't be the same. I really respect players that play their whole career with one team (Reggie Miller, Wayne Chrebet, Mike Alstott, Barry Sanders, etc) and I really thought he could have been one of those guys. I know it's not always up to the player if he gets to stay or not, but Housh wanted to go. And I have always believed that if a player doesn't want to stay on a team he should leave. That's why it's so impressive when a player does it. It shows that both the team and the player wanted to be together, which is something I really like as a fan. -I bought Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff for the Nintendo DS and it's not really that great. Tecmo Super Bowl on the Nintendo was better. Kickoff is too easy, has several glitches, doesn't keep stats very well, and the controls are harder on the DS's hardware. -My plant Lonnie is starting to grow back. He had an accident and almost died. But he's growing back and it's all very exciting. -I've been playing this sort of game that I learned years ago called "bic". You take a Bic lighter and try to catch it with the back of your hand, like a foot stall with a hacky-sack. Basically, I just try to see how many catches I can land in a row, throwing it up in the air with the back of my hand after each catch. It's a pretty hard game. My record so far is only ten. -I made my first meal in my new crockpot. It was just a mix oif some of my favorite foods: meat, beans, mushrooms, water chestnuts, etc. It was ok, definately not great. But now that I've used it I wanna use it more. I have a recipe book and I wanna do a chilli and a clam cowder. They should be awesome. Later, Kyle P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!
