Friday February 9, 2007 (09:36am) “Yo, that's... shizzle” (while listening to Redemption Song (Live) by Pearl Jam) -Yesterday I started getting around the house with just my cane. I've been practicing with the cane a lot and I finally decided I could handle it out on my own with only the cane. It's tires me out quicker as it's more of a workout on my hip. But the leg is getting stronger everyday, and using the cane will provide me with enough exercise to get it in shape even faster. I'm really glad to be ditching the walker. It was big, bulky, always in the way, and my wrists were really starting to hurt from using it all the time. Also, now that I'm only using a cane, that means I can carry stuff with me around the house! Now I won't have to rely on other people to cart my crap around for me! Yeah! -That was the good news. Now for the bad: My right hip, my GOOD hip, is starting to become noticably irrated. It might just be that the left hip is so pain free that it makes the other one feel worse, or it might just be the beginning of another hip surgery. Who knows. I don't. All I know is that it was bothering me last night and it made it harder to fall asleep. It wasn't so much the pain as it was the thought of another surgery crawling into my brain. Yeah. It's still not bad enough to get checked out yet, but it definately could get there in the near furture. I'll keep everyone posted. -Yesterday I finished completing my newest list: My Top 100 Favorite Movies of All Time. Feel free to check it out and see if your favorite movies made my cut. Also, don't be afraid to say "what about [blank] movie!", cause I may have forgetton a few movies that should be on the list. And, well, that's pretty cool. -The other day I was thinking about TV shows, and I came to realization that by the end of the series, The Office will de-throne Friends as my favorite TV show of all time. There's just something about The Office that I'm drawn to that I can't fully explain. It's a lot of little things that make The Office great: Jim's camera looks, the one-on-one camera interviews, their use of music, or lack there of (the only songs you hear are either songs the characters are performing or listening to), Pam is physically and emotionally attractive, and the Dwight character is great because you never know whether to love him or hate him.
