Thursday April 5, 2007 (12:28pm) Timmy! (while listening to Your Own Worst Enemy by They Might Be Giants) -Joe Garelli (NewsRadio) -Thanks to all the people who added content to my hangman game. I know that Jill and at least other person added content. I appreciate it. -In my seemingly never-ending amount of free time I decided to throw together a comic strip of sorts. I call it "The Adventures Of Timmy". You can find "The Adventures Of Timmy" by clicking here or nby clicking on the "Links" button on my site (above) and selecting "The Adventures Of Timmy". I must warn you that it is extraordinarily stupid and silly and should be read at you own risk. -The hip is still doing good. Still making progress. I use the cane a lot less and getting around really well. The muscles aren't as tight and don't get as stiff and sore after working out. That's good stuff. -The search to see if I can find a place here in the Portland area wage son. Unfortunately, it isn't looking very good. No matter how I seem to crunch the numbers, I just don't think I can afford to make it on my own. I haven't given up yet, but I'll know soon whether or not I'm getting anywhere with it. I'll keep you all posted. -I recently changed to a Medicare Advantage plan through Humana that became effective at the beginning of this month. And, of course, the transition was not a smooth one. Apparently when their systems made the change they lost my LIS (low income subsidy) info, so when I went to fill an Rx they wanted a $115 co-pay instead of the $5 it should have been because I qualify for LIS. Anyway, after several days and hundreds of cellphone minutes wasted, it appears that everything is in order. But I have little faith in an insurance companies ability to not eventually screw something up, so I doubt this is the last headache Humana puts me through for no good reason.
